We offer elegant country accommodation inclusive of a full cooked breakfast.
We have four charming rooms with ensuites, for overnight,
longer stays or special occasions such as weddings.
At The Ambers we offer the choice between two luxurious rooms
on the second floor and two more in the third floor attic.

The Attic Room
Enjoy our romantic attic suite with sloping ceilings and bathroom
with antique claw footed bath.
The Attic Room is the largest of our rooms and although getting there involves
two flights of stairs - the view is well worthwhile.
There is a fourth bedroom in the attic with two single beds.
The two attic rooms make an ideal family suite.

The Front Room
The ‘Front Room' is the largest room and gets the morning sun.
The ‘Front Room’ is perhaps the most beautiful room in the house
and is often chosen as a honeymoon suite.
It is fully furnished and has an ensuite.

The Blue Room
Often chosen by gentlemen the Blue Room offers a cool and quiet corner of the house with views out over the lower grounds to the bush and stream.
The ‘ Blue Room ' has a king size bed and an ensuite
with a shower and a bath.

A delicious country style breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the garden and native bush or in our formal dining room with fine linen and silver tableware.
In the evening relax with pre-dinner drinks in our elegant lounge or with a coffee and vintage port after enjoying dinner out at one of our local seaside restaurants.

|
Weddings
Various areas of our garden and grounds are suitable for small outdoor wedding ceremonies and we can provide intimate,
romantic surroundings for the wedding couple and their guests.
|
|
Both of us enjoy meeting people, have traveled extensively and
between us speak Dutch and a little French and German.
|
|
We are also a great stay for Aucklanders looking for a relaxing romantic weekend away in the country
while still being close to the city.

 Location:
The Ambers Auckland Bed and Breakfast is located just south of Silverdale at the base of the beautiful Whangaparaoa Peninsula in Auckland, 10 min from Albany and only 5 min from golf course, beaches, restaurants and shops.
We are on the main route north only 30 minutes from Auckland and just 600m from the Silverdale exit of the motorway.
