self contained suites, boasting garden views and uninterrupted mountain vistas where absolute privacy is assured being separate from the main residence.
Spoil yourself with a delicious home cooked breakfast with fresh farm eggs,
sizzling bacon and tasty condiments, or an exotic continental delivered
at your appointed time, to eat in your suite or in the garden.
After breakfast, take a 10 minute walk to the village for a soak in the award winning Thermal Pools and sample one of 'The Spas' numerous therapies.

 Or, from your suite it’s a stroll down our garden path
to the Hanmer Springs Golf Course for a leisurely 18 holes or exert yourselves
on one of our mountain bikes exploring countless wonderful forest tracks.
Later, you are spoilt for choice at many of the Hanmer Springs fine cafes and restaurants, gazing out onto high mountain peaks and breathing in the fresh
alpine air after indulging in pure relaxation or exhilaration.
The two garden suites boast beautiful views across the garden
and up to the snowy peaks of Mt Dunblane and Mt Isabel.
Each suite has its own small kitchenette with kettle/toaster/microwave/fridge
and all you would need to make a simple meal or have takeaways.
A BBQ is also available for guest use.

 Both suites have TV/DVD and a small DVD library for your entertainment.
Waffle weave cotton robes, bathroom accessories, and comfortable lounge chairs
are all part of the experience and for those needing to keep in touch,
there is wireless internet, computer access and Skype.
The Mount Isobel suite has a superking/singles and a
large luxury tiled shower room, while the Mount Dunblane suite
has a king bed and a large bathroom with shower over bath.
A fully cooked or simple continental breakfast can be enjoyed either inside
your suite or better still, al fresco in the garden to breath in the fresh mountain air.

Marchmont Gardens Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in the heart of Hanmer Springs.
A one minute stroll to the Golf Club and first tee, two minute walk to the driving range and mini putt, a leisurely fifteen minutes to the village and soak in the Thermal Pools, dine in fine restaurants and cafes and experience the wonderful array of shopping.

Hanmer Springs is situated: 4 hours from Picton; 1hr 45 from Kaikoura; 1hr 40 from Christchurch; 4.5 hours from Nelson.
Marchmont Gardens is situated in Argelins Road, Hanmer Springs past the 'Pitch & Putt' and up to the top of that hill.
It is a back property... look out for our big sign on the fence to the left of our driveway. |
