• In particular the Bream Head walkway which has just been completed and provides a stunning but easily manageable coastal walk around the area of smugglers cove.

• Twenty minutes from the facilities of Whangarei.

• Beaches for everyone whether surfing attractions of Ocean beach, or visiting the many secluded bays along the coastline.
• Super short walks. Easy walk paths to the secluded and scenic Smugglers bay:
• Or for those feeling energetic, a more stretching walk to Peach cove.
• A host of parks, some with tree height walkways and immense Kauri trees.

Eden House is only twenty minutes drive east of the charming harbour town of Whangarei, towards 'Whangarei Heads' and Parua Bay.

Directions:
Coming northwards - on approach to Whangarei, turn right (off State Highway 1), at the first turning after the Information Centre (on left) and signposted, CITY CENTRE,  Whangarei Heads, TOWN BASIN.
Continue through the town centre following the signs for 'Whangarei Heads' (Whangarei Hds) and 'Airport'.  Continue out of Whangarei town centre, across the bridge over the Hatea river, continuing until you reach the suburb of Onerahi. 
You will pass a New World supermarket on your right.  Take the second left, (at a Hammer Hardware store), down 'Whangarei Heads road', and signposted 'Whangarei Heads'. 
Continue for 11kms along this lovely scenic road, when you will reach Parua Bay Tavern on your right. Carry on, for approximately
0.5km, and you will come to Owhiwa Rd (on your left).  Turn left,  and after 5.1 kms you will arrive at Eden House on your right, (just 50 metres past Franklin Road)

Coming southwards - into Whangarei on State Highway one, follow the signs for the city centre until you reach signs for 'Whangarei Heads' and 'Airport'. Follow these into the suburb of Onerahi.  
At Onerahi, you will pass a New World supermarket on your right.  Take the second left, (at a Hammer Hardware store), down 'Whangarei Heads road', and signposted 'Whangarei Heads'. 
Continue for 11kms along this lovely scenic road, when you will reach Parua Bay Tavern (on your right). Continue on, for approximately 0.5 km, and you will come to Owhiwa Rd (on your left).  Turn left, down this road and after 5.1 kms you will arrive at Eden House on your right, (just 50 metres past Franklin Road).
