The Boot is a unique luxury retreat offering peace and privacy
for couples on holiday or for romantic weekends and special occasions.
Located in the heart of the Ruby Coast ideally situated for exploring
the Abel Tasmen and Nelson region. Nestled within a grove of hazelnut trees,
The Boot opens onto a private courtyard surrounded by a fragrant garden.
Relax on sunny afternoons and spend lazy evenings dining alfresco beside the
outdoor fire. The perfect environment to unwind and enjoy each others company.

Inside, luxuriate in the comfort of the couch in front of the open fire,
or enjoy an early night in the intimacy of the upstairs bedroom.
In the morning your choice of breakfast will be delivered to the door.
Our relaxing, quiet bed and breakfast adopts sustainable practices without
deterring from the luxury experience we want all our guests to enjoy.
Guests are welcome to wander the paths of our 2.4 hectare garden during their stay. Seasonal organic fruit is available from our orchard.

 The Boot is a fully equipped stand alone cottage.
Downstairs in the lounge there is a comfy couch in front of the open fire.
The kitchenette has tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
The tiled bathroom is equipped with toiletries, soft towels,
hairdryer and a shower built for two.
Up the spiral staircase you'll find the bedroom with a regal queen-sized bed, dark curtains for late morning rises, and a Juliet balcony with views into the courtyard and across the pond.

The courtyard itself is a sheltered outdoor space surrounded by a fragrant garden, ideal for soaking up the Tasman sunshine on sun loungers or enjoying long evenings of alfresco dining by the fire.
Fine Nelson Art, fresh flowers, candles, complementary chocolates, a stereo and no television complete the romantic scene.
Breakfast of your choice is delivered to your door any time before midday.

The Boot is just minutes away from Kina Beach and Tasman Golf Course, with its magnificent views across the whole of Tasman Bay and the mountains all around. There are also a number of galleries and wineries, Mapua village and wharf are all within 10km.
From The Boot you are just a hop, skip and a jump, from the award winning Jester House cafe.
A perfect position for exploring the highlights of Tasman Bay, Nelson, New Zealand.

All prices are inclusive of GST and breakfast.
We appreciate guests checking in between 3pm and 6pm and checking out before midday, however we try to be as flexible as possible so do let us know if your travel plans require alternative check-in or out times.

Cancellation Policy:
|
Due to our intimate size, any cancellation affects us significantly. In the event of any un-replaceable booking the following charges apply:
Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 50% of total cost.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% of total cost.
We realise that travel plans can be unavoidably altered and we will be as understanding as possible. If we are able to rebook The Boot for the dates that you had requested we will happily reimburse you.

Driving instructions to The Boot, 320 Aporo Road, Tasman
From Picton/Kaikoura via Nelson city:
- Head south on Highway 6 (direction West Coast, Murchison)
- Straight through traffic lights at Richmond
- Turn right at round about onto Highway 60
(direction Motueka, Takaka)
- Appoximately 28 km form here on the right are the signs
The Ruby Coast Scenic Drive, Tasman and Mapua (The 3rd Mapua exit)
- Turn right here onto Aporo Road. Go 500m past Tasman Village
to The Jester House cafe on left hand side.
- Drive through the ford into the café carpark
and check in at the café or after hours at our house behind
From Motueka
- Take Highway 60 in the direction of Nelson
- 8km from the roundabout turn left onto Aporo Road,
direction Tasman, Mapua, Ruby Coast Scenic Drive
- 500m past Tasman village on the left are the signs for the
Jester House café
- Turn left through the ford into the cafe car park
